Psychologist services for Family Law specializing in high net worth divorce cases
High-net-worth divorce cases involve far more than legal and financial complexity. Your clients are often navigating intense emotional strain at the same time they are being asked to make critical, high-stakes decisions. Without the right support, that strain can slow progress, escalate conflict, and make resolution more difficult.
I’m Dr. Jené Verchick, a Los Angeles psychologist with over 26 years of experience. I work in close partnership with family law attorneys to provide their clients with the psychological support needed to stay grounded, focused, and able to engage productively in the legal process.
I help clients manage the emotional impact of decisions related to homes, family systems, custody and parental issues, children’s schooling, and business interests, along with the unique pressures of privacy, public image, and identity during divorce. I also work directly on custody and parenting-related concerns and can prepare written reports suitable for use in court when appropriate.
My approach is active and engaged — I work collaboratively with clients to help them regulate, think clearly, and move forward. My role is to support your client so you can do your best legal work. When clients are emotionally stabilized, they are better able to make sound decisions, communicate effectively, and move toward resolution in a meaningful way.
